Sweet and Sour Pork is a dish love by most from the young to old! I got this recipe from my aunt and is quite a yummy one. Try and let me know if you also like it!
Sweet and Sour Pork
Ingredients (Serve 4)
(A) - marinate 10 mins
300g Pork cubes
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Soy sauce
1/4 tsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Cooking wine
Pepper
1 no egg
(B)
Potato starch for coating pork to deep fry
1/4 Onion (cut bite size)
1/3 no Yellow capsicum (cut coarsely)
1/2 no Japanese cucumber (remove seed and cut coarsely)
1 no tomatoes (cut into bite size) or some cherry tomatoes
(C) Gravy
2 tbsp Chilli sauce
3 tbsp Tomato sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Plum sauce
2 tsp Sugar
3/4-1 tsp Salt
4 tbsp Water
Method:
1. Roll marinated diced pork into potato starch to coat evenly. Deep fry till golden and drain.
2. Fry onion, capsicum and tomato with some oil, add in gravy and bring it to boil. Pour in fried pork and cucumber. Mix well and serve!
