Homemade Granola


Crunchy Homemade Granola


Recipe adapted from "Cuisine Paradise"!




Homemade crunchy vanilla granola with cranberry (original recipe: here)
Ingredients:
2 cups Wholegrain rolled oats
1 cup Mixed nuts and seeds (my usual mix - almond, walnut, pecan, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)
1/2 cup Dried cranberry
1/4 tsp Sea salt
1/4 cup Sunflower oil
1/4 cup Pure honey
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract




Method:
Preheat oven at 160C. Line the tray with baking paper.
1. Heat up honey and oil in a stainless steel thick bottom saucepan over low heat till almost boiling. Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract.
2. Place rolled oats, nuts, seeds and salt in a mixing bowl and mix well. Slowly stir in honey mixture with a spatular till all are well coated with the syrup.
3. Spread the rolled oats mixture on the lined tray and bake in preheated oven for 30-35 mins by tossing the mixture every 10 mins so it will be evenly baked.
4. Once it is baked, toss in the dried cranberry and allow it to cool completely. Store in airtight container. 


How I serve my yummy granola?


Best served with Meiji Bulgaria yoghurt!
