Passed by this restaurant many times and was always attracted by the beautiful porcelain hotpot holder. With a colleague after work, went to try it sometimes ago.

Hotpot set - S$18.90 / pax
Ala Carte buffet - S$25.90 / pax
Our choice of soup - Spicy Tom Yum & Cabbage Duck Soup
The soup was quite flavourful. We preferred the spicy one. 
A variety of condiments & sauces available at the self service counter.
These were the items in each of the set we ordered.
For set meal, we can choose 2 items from each of the 4 catergories which made up of meat, seafood, vegetables & others.
For buffet, there is no limitation as you can have everything on the menu.

Saw this b4 when i went to NEX a few weeks back. So how was it? Worth trying?

Went to the restaurant yesterday for dinner with my mum n aunty at Nex looking forward to a great dining experience...
It's a great disappointment, the fresh seafood is only the fish slice and prawns... my mum spit out the crab once she bit into it... Force ourselves to try the good order for the first round into the hotpot and left... Instead went to Toast Box to continue part 2 of our dinner of Toast n Kopi... It's not value for $$$

Yah the service really suck. Went there on 5th Dec @ about 1245, it was really packed and shorthanded. Nobody cleared the table for 10 to 15 min after the customers left. The quee did not even move after waiting for 30 min. Got really piss off and left. Will ban this place forever.
I went there on christmas for dinner. All I can say is that I'm extremely DISAPPOINTED. Previously, I had a good experience at their main place, so I thought might as well try out their new branch at Nex. But it was really bad.
The waiter can only speak chinese. Well, that's not the main problem. What I find most irritating is that the serving comes in SUCH SMALL AMOUNTS. Although there's no restriction for the number of times you can call for food, the amount of food each time was VERY LITTLE. Each time you call for food, you had to wait for 15 minutes before it comes. Let me tell what I mean by 'LITTLE'.It was VERY TROUBLESOME. I went with a family of four. Can you imagine calling for prawns, and each time you call, you only get four prawns at a time. So it's only ONE prawn for each of us. Even when we call for spinach, it's ONE piece of leaf for each of us! Like WTH! I tried calling for more at a time by indicating 2 plates on the menu sheet, but it's still the same. Talk to the waiter, and they say that's the rule in the restaurant. (Maybe they are just trying to save some money by serving as little food as possible. While they are at it, they also managed to piss their customers off.) It was NOT like this at their main branch near bugis. Maybe they have changed their modus operandi. I dunno. I'm just terribly disappointed and it's $30 per pax. Pfft. What a letdown. Will never go there again. I might just drop by the main branch and give them feedback. Bleh, lousy christmas dinner. LOUSY.
Wow seem like they are getting worse! Thanks for taking an effort to update me. I only been there once when it was just opened and back then the service was still pretty fine. Hope they will do something about it! Happy New Year!
Well... I going to bring my mother there to have a mother day dinner this sunday(12/05/2013) after i read the comment should i bring her go?
