Funan Weng Ipoh Ho Fun

Funan Weng Ipoh Ho Fun has a historical establishment in Singapore since the 1950s. Started from road side stall to hawker stall till now holding 2 restaurants. Main restaurant located at Maxwell Chambers and a mini restaurant at Toa Payoh HDB Hub's Gourmet Paradise Food Court. A cosy place to have a meal if you want to stay away from the crowd in the food court. They offer daily value for money set meal which cost less than S$10. The menu offers a wide variety of items from Ipoh ho fun to noodles.

The signature Soya Sauce Chicken Thigh Ipoh Ho Fun. The rice noodle was thin and smooth but I personally prefer it to be thicker in texture. Top with the braised sauce which was quite tasty but not very fantastic. Just lack of the wow factor if compares to Hong Lim -Tuck Kee Ipoh Sah Ho Fun.

Lobster Noodle was quite plain tasting as compared to the soya sauce chicken.

Char Siew & Shredded Chicken Combo Ipoh Ho Fun. Same type of braised sauce used just different topping.

Set meal comes with a drink, dumpling soup & vegetables.

A side dish to share. The fried dumplings were quite nicely done.
