Uno Beef House

Another late post of my eat 2 weeks ago (28/8/09) at Uno Beef House @ Toa Payoh. It's a coffee shop serving value for money western food especially for tenderloin steak which are rather popular in Toa Payoh and was featured on The Straits Times before too. Have not been dining there for awhile, I think almost more than a year ago...

Black Pepper NZ Tenderloin Steak - S$15.00

The quality of the steak was commendable which was tender, juicy & tasty but it's a pity that the sauce didn't taste good. It's like a normal brown sauce and not the pepper sauce that I expect. Yet, it's still worth going for a try as the steak was quite a big cut, really value for money.

Black Pepper Ribeye Steak - S$11.00

If you wanted to have steak, just pay a bit more for the tenderloin steak instead. Regretted ordering this, as compared to the tenderloin steak, the ribeye steak was a bit tough eventhough was middle done and not so sweet & juicy.

Pork Chop - S$5.50

Nothing special and the sauce is the same for all set.

Black Pepper Chicken Chop - S$5.50

The chicken chop was nice as the meat was well seasoned and coated with lots of ground blackpepper which give a distinctive flavor to it though the sauce was still the same.

Crispy Chicken Wing - S$1.20/pc

A must try and always my all time favourite! The wings were crispy and tasty on the outside and real juicy inside. Yummy...
