Man Fu Yuan, the flagship Chinese restaurant of Hotel Intercontinental that specialises in Cantonese cuisine. Read quite a few nice reviews about their dim sum but we were there for dinner instead last Friday. The pricing is slightly on the high side as compared to other hotel's chinese restaurant. Anyway, we were there because my Aunt P happen to have a S$50 dining voucher so she wish to try out their food. The restaurant with simple classical setting is very small that can only cater to about 12 tables but services were above average and very attentive though it took a while for them to serve the dishes. After browsing through the menu, we decided to have the 6 course set dinner for 4 @ S$118.00++ which is the cheapest on the menu other than the ala carte dishes. The food was generally very good, almost all the dishes were nice and fresh. Almost no misses but all hits for the dinner we had that evening.

Pork Ribs with Figs Soup
The soup was well boiled and reminded me of how typical old Cantonese granny's kind of soup. Very soothing to the soul.Steam Live Prawn
The prawns were very very fresh and the soya & spring onion dipping sauce was yummy.
Roasted Chicken
Though nothing special but was nicely done up. The skin was crispy and the meat was well seasoned and tender.

Di Wang Cai w/Shimeji Mushroom in Minced Pork Sauce
Another dish that made you ask for more rice.
