16th Oct 2010
This event was initiated by Edith of Precious Moment and I was glad that I participated in this meaningful blogger's event. A group of food bloggers came together and cooked a simple luncheon for the elderly at Peace Connect. An organisation that provide inter-generational activities, mutual care, support and social elder care to the needy residents in Kampong Glam.
Edith with 4 other team leaders came up with the menu and the standard recipes for the luncheon. They are as follows:
* Edith @ Precious moment - Taukwa with Beansprouts
* Josephine @ Sugar & Everything Nice - Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables
* Shirley @ Kokken69 - Braised Mushroom Meat Sauce
* Jane @ Passionate with baking - Fried Bee Hoon
* Zhuoyuan @ Baking library - Red Bean Soup
