Recipe adapted from "Miss Tam Chiak"
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
11/2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon red food color
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoons apple cidar vinegar
1/2 cup of plain hot coffee
Cream Cheese Frosting (recipe adapted from Cookiescakelab's)
250g cream cheese, room temp
1/2tsp vaniila extract
50g Icing sugar (sifted)
50g Dairy cream (35% fat)
1. Cream cheese till smooth, add in vanilla, icing sugar and beat till well mix.
2. Gradually add in cream and whip until frosting is thick enough to pipe.
So yummy! Going to bake this again soon!
