Dessert after dinner at Sum's Kitchen was cakes from Le Grenier a Pain at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Bought 2 of their popular cakes:

The cakes looked so attractive but were quite a disappointment after tasting. Both were too sweet for my liking. The tart base was not fragrant and too cakey. The macaron was soft and the sweetness override all flavors. Maybe the Caroline cake was better but still not really fantastic.
