Canopy Garden Dining & Bar

Last Friday, B & C gave me an birthday dinner treat at Bishan Park - Canopy Garden dining. A garden cafe that serves Australian style café food complimented by a wide variety of wines. Peaceful garden setting provide perfect ambiance for families and friends gathering.

Smoked pepper duck

A very nice and appetising salad - sliced smoked duck, lettuce, mango, coriander & chili salsa. A must try!

Pork Rack

Grilled pork rack with creamy mash potatoes, broccoli and caramelized onion glaze. The pork rack was grilled to perfection. It's tasty, juicy & tender. Nice!

Frutti Di Mare

Linguine with lobster, squid, prawns & mussels cooked in vine tomato sauce. Not bad, the sauce was very tangy rich and appetizing. B liked it.

Chicken Basil Pesto

Linguine with chicken, semi dried tomato & parmesan cheese. C had this and I tried some, a bit bland and oily. She don't seem to enjoy it too.

Tiramisu

Quite dry and too sweet for our liking.

Nice ambiance and service was ok. I enjoyed the salad and the pork rack. Definitely will go back again. Thank you B & C for the treat & birthday gift!
