Last Friday evening, had a luxury shopping spree at DFS - Orchard with 2 of my friends & Aunt Peggy. My Aunt's friend can get great discount at DFS for most of the luxury brands, perfume and cosmetics. So we met up with them and shop till drop! Of course our pocket also had a big hole too. Suppose to go for dinner before shopping but we decided to shop first. Who's know we shopped till they closed at 10.30pm! After all the great deal grabs, then we started to feel hungry! Since it was already so late we settled ourselves with somethings light at Canele which is just few min walk down the road from DFS. We had a soup, salad and crepes to share for 3 of us.
Corn and Crab Chowder - S$9.50++
The soup was not rich and flavourful in-depth though it was choking with ingredients but the bread basket was a delight
Chicken Caesar Salad - S$11.50
Romaine lettuce with roasted chicken breast, poached egg, crispy bacon, garlic croutons and anchovy dressing. Very nice! Especially the slice chicken was delish!
Strawberries Crepes - S$13.50++
Strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, strawberry coulis, vanilla crème chantilly and vanilla tuile. It was a sweet, sinful and ultimately satisfying for strawberries and crepes lover like me.
