One of the very popular beef noodles stall in my neighbourhood. Many good reviews on them. I had not been visiting them since I started my blog. Used to be at the Cuppage centre and had relocated to Toa Payoh Lor 7 Foodcentre more than 13 years ago. The stall is operated by 2 elderly Hainanese uncles who are very friendly and generous. They starts selling as early as before 8 am and usually sold out by lunch time. They are very generous with the ingredients and they don't charge you extra for takeaway. Price range from S$3 to $5 in dry or soup version. Both are nice but personally I prefer the soup version.
Beef Noodles Special (Dry) - S$4.00
The sauce was very rich, thick and flavourful though a bit on the sweet side. The slice beef was blanched till perfection, so soft and tender. The beef tripes were very nice too but the beef balls were rather ordinary. I liked the chilli too, complimented the noodles very well with a squeeze of lime.
Beef Noodles Soup (Takeaway)
For takeaway, they will pack the noodles and soup separately for you. So thoughtful right! The soup was really good, full of beef flavour!
