Todai is now in Singapore, Marina Bay Sands. Read lots of rave reviews on them so suggested to celebrate Aunt Peggy's birthday there. The spread is pretty impressive except that most of the buffet plates were sparsely filled probably due to the small crowd on weekdays. Another disappointment was oyster was not served on weekdays. Still we had an enjoyable evening dining at Todai. I will want to come back again on a weekend.

Quite true but I find their spread of sushi rolls rather special.
dear wendy..
i love visiting ur blog, is 1 of my fav blog lists. well, this is my 1st time droping u my admiration over yr blog plus wld liek to post u a question. pse compare yr recent visit to 'The dinning room' vs 'Todai' which is better . Thanks
Thanks Alisia for following my blog!
Todai seem to be better in term of spread. Other than the usual spread, they have an impressive spread of sushi rolls. Sashimi and seafood are very good too. They also serve Italian, Korean & Brazil cuisine, plus chilli crabs & tempura which The dining room don't. However Todai's dessert is lousy as compared The dining room.
If you are a dessert person, The dining room will be a better buffet choice and the food overall is good too.
Todai buffet does not look special, most hotels would serve these dishes
Pretty good spread of nice food down there, you must enjoying your food!
sooo many mouth drooling food..... i have yet to try this out :p Anything is the must TRY there?
the most impressive and must try probably is the sushi rolls.
yes is a good spread, worth trying!
Is it always crowded?
I heard so too... best to make reservation. The last time I went was on weekday, not too bad.
