L'Espresso cafe has an impressive and quality spread of English Hi-Tea buffet which I had enjoyed tremendously on National Day Holiday with family. It's a cosy cafe lounge that established as a choice destination for good English Hi-tea. I believe is one of the best that I had so far. Simply adored all the wonderful delicacies which looked amazing & delicious. The savoury pastries, crepes, assorted cheese & cracker, mini sandwiches, panini & finger food balance up with the sweet dessert, cakes, choc fondue, ice cream & assorted fruits... all are so appetizing & nicely done. Cosy & relaxing ambience with a panist playing throughout the hi-tea session form 2.30pm to 5.00pm. I'm definitely looking forward to revisit them again.

The spread looked so exquisite and almost too pretty to eat. I really enjoyed taking pictures of them.
Brownie Cake, Choc Eclair, Berry Mille Feuille, Coconut Financiere, Pistascho Opera Cake & Mini Fruit tarts. Among them I like the opera cake, so mini yet taste heavenly with the pistacho cream.
Salmon Mille Feuille with Caviar, Sundried Tomatoes Confit on Garlic Toast, Foie Gras Pate on Toast, Chicken Salad in Pi-Tee, Parma Ham with Melon & Petite crossiants with mango & prawn salsa. Salmon w/caiver & pi-tee were outstanding.
Petit crossiant with ham & cheese, Mini paninis, Cod fish & basil in crispy wrap, Ravoli pasta, Apricot tarts, Choc fruits fountain & Smoked salmon sashimi. The crispy cod fish roll was one of our favourite too.
My three favourite savoury delicacies were - The Tortilla Wrap with Pepper Chicken, Vol-Au-Vent prawns & Pork Bratwurst with Chorizo Pickle. Regret not having 2nd helping but really too full after going 1st round & I didn't even try those lovely looking mousse cake, cheese cake, pudding, ice cream, assorted cheese w/crackers & some of the mini sandwiches.
Scones (plain & blueberry) w/butter, cream & fruity jam - so soft and fluffy. One of the best and a must try. Their well known Creme brulee but too sweet for me but my cousin who has sweet tooth love it and can't stop prasing it. Assorted fruits & Mango soup with pamelo.
The hi-tea is at $33++ (net $39.00) include 2 drinks which you can order from the tea & coffee menu. I like the idea as the selection was quite good other than the daily brewed coffee, it also include expresso, cuppo, latte, ice mocha & a selection of tea like green tea, fruit tea & different types of english tea. It's not just the usual tea & coffee though refillable.
