JPOT - Hotpot Singapore Style

29th Jan 2010

Just 2 weeks before CNY, we had a very good and enjoyable steamboat dinner at JPOT on me. A new dining concept by Jumbo Seafood that was highly recommended by foodies & media since it started in 2009. One of the best steamboat restaurant I been to in Singapore so far. Though we had to pay a little bit more but they offered premium and quality fresh ingredients with flavourful broth. Worth trying.

It's ala-carte style but they do have various type of set to choose from. I ordered one of the steamboat set for 4 with some other additional items. After a 10% discount with Citibank cc, total bill was about S$200 for the 5 of us. Approx. S$40/pax. Service is rather fine and ambiance is cosy too. Definitely will return again to try the BKT & porridge soup base.

Dinner Set F S$138.00++ for 4 persons

*Choice of soup: JPOT superior broth & Tom Yum Soup

They offer a wide variety of soup base. Other than the 2 we had chosen, they have soup base like Bak Kut Teh, Herbal, Laksa, Silky porridge & Vegetarian. Both were good especially the tom yum, very rich, appetizing and quite spicy too.
