Fat Fish Thai Steamboat Restaurant

[Closed]
27th Aug 2010

The birthday girl suggested to have dinner at Fat Fish, a Thai steamboat restaurant almost similar to Coca but much cheaper yet quality as good. I was quite impressed as there is such a gem hiding up the hill in Sembawang. Service is good and attentive, ambiance is cosy and clean. Quaity of food is very fresh and good too. The menu offered for ala-carte buffet are not many but good enough for a sumptuous steamboat where all the quality stuffs are included. They also serve Thai stir fry dishes at rather reasonable pricing. Definitely going to bring my family back to try.

Thai Steamboat Ala-Carte Buffet

Weekday(Mon-Thurs exclude Eve & PH)
Adult - $ 18.80+ Child - $ 9.80+

Weekend (Friday-Sunday, Eve & PH)
Adult - $ 22.80+ Child - $ 9.80+

There 2 choices of stock to choose from, chicken & tom yum. Both are equally nice but we prefer the tom yum, very appetizing and flavourful.

All the shabu shabu meats were sliced thinly. Other than the fresh meat & seafood, the fuzhou ball, salmon cheese stick, meat balls & dumplings were all quite nice too. I'm glad to see Tang O & golden mushroom in the menu too which buffet usually don't include as they are more costly.

it has moved to Pasir Ris.
and the price is no different from Coca.
So if you dont live in the East, there is no incentive to go to Fat Fish.
