We had some zi char to share too other than Fish & Chip. One of our fav zi char stall in Toa Payoh is also in the same coffee shop - Muay Lee Hng Seafood which I had blogged before. All their sambal dishes are exceptionally nice but the rest are just normal.

This was very nice even though was a bit oily due to the sambal. The asparagus was sweet, crunchy & juicy, the sambal chilli was very good too with lots of ground dried shrimp added.

This was strongly recommended by the boss but recently we kept having this same dish in our past few zi char dinners so was a bit sick of it even though was quite nicely done.

Not very nice and lack of flavour & wok hei but the cook was very generous in the ingredients.
