Sunday dinner with family at Gaia Korean Restaurant @ Suntec City. A newly opened Korean restaurant that has been rated rather high by some foodies in Hungry Go Where. They serve quality and authentic home style Korean cuisine and the ambiance is good too. Read from the reviews that the boss and the cooks are all Koreans. We happened to meet the boss too that evening, he is very friendly and also asked us whether we liked the food.

Banchan
Sundubu Jigae - S$15.00
A hot and spicy Korean stew made with tofu, seafood, vegetables, onion, leek, eggs and chilli powder. A real comfort dish that goes so well with rice. Very appetizing and heart warming stew that will make me revisit them again.
Dwejigalbi - S$22.00
Onion salad, fresh green chilli and romaine lettuce were served, for wrapping with the grilled pork.
Dakgalbi - S$22.00
Chicken in spicy sauce - Chunk of chicken thigh meat, cabbage, carrot, sweet potatoes, leek, vermicelli and chewy rice cake cooked at our table in a spicy chilli paste. My aunt love this very much. Quite spicy but you can request for less spicy version. Simple ingredients but tasted so good.
Haemul Pajeon - S$17.00
Seafood Pancake. Had eaten this at a few Korean restaurants in Singapore but so far I think this one is the best. Not too thick with flour but filled with lots of seafood instead. Taste real good with the vinegar dipping sauce.
We enjoyed the food very much and service is good too, the waitress is very attentive and friendly. Except that the pricing is quite steep. Barley tea and side dishes are FOC but the steamed white rice is quite expensive at S$2.00 per bowl.
