As my hectic work schedule coming to an end soon and leaving me with more free time. I started to do some baking and attending workshops again. Attended this workshop on 29 Jul at Serangoon CC. A demo on wholemeal burger bun with Teriyaki chicken by Valerie, my favourite baking instructor from the CC. Love this recipe very much and will be trying it out at home soon.
Teriyaki Chicken Burger
Serve it like how the Mos burger does it with iceberg lettuce and Japanese mayo. Yum...!

Wen, which method did she use for her bread? Good to hear that you are winding down from your hectic schedule. Take care.
Hi edith,
She used the conventional method. Mix, knead, rest the dough, shape and proof.
Hi Wen,
I found your blog through foodbuzz. Your blog has a nice blackish/grey theme and its organized and neat.
I would to ask, for the workshops you have attended, are they all demo classes? From what I have read, only a few of them are hands-on, such as Richard Goh's cake decoration (stage 6 I think). Sorry if I sound suaku. I have never attended any baking classes to date.
Cheers and happy baking =]
Hi Bakertan,
Thanks for dropping by my blog and your compliment.
Yes most of the workshops I attended were demo only. I know there are a few places that offer hand on classes for homebaker, you may wish to check it out:
